Eisenhower Matrix Template
The Eisenhower Matrix is a proven productivity framework designed to help you prioritize tasks by urgency and importance. Instead of a massive, overwhelming to-do list, this method forces you to categorize your work so you can focus on what actually moves the needle, while delegating or deleting the rest.
By setting this up in KanbanTab, your matrix is literally one click away. Every time you open a new tab, you are forced to confront what is truly urgent versus what is just a distraction. It prevents you from doing "busy work" when you should be doing "important work."
Pro tip: Keep your "Do First" column strictly limited to 1-3 items. If everything is urgent, nothing is.
How to use this board
Do First
Urgent and Important. These are critical tasks with impending deadlines. Do these immediately.
Schedule
Important, but not Urgent. Long-term goals and strategic tasks. Pick a time to do these later.
Delegate
Urgent, but not Important. Interruptions and tasks that must get done, but don't require your specific skillset. Assign these to someone else if possible.
Don't Do
Not Urgent and Not Important. Distractions and time-wasters. Delete these tasks entirely.
