1. Ideas

Raw concepts and brainstorming. Drop your sparks of inspiration here before they vanish. You are not committing to doing them yet, just saving them.

2. Research

Projects you are actively scoping out. Gathering materials, writing outlines, or planning the architecture before you actually start the hard work.

3. Executing

The deep work phase. Projects that are currently being built, written, coded, or produced. Limit this column strictly to maintain focus.

4. Paused

Projects temporarily on hold. This happens due to shifting priorities, waiting for client reviews, or external delays beyond your control.

5. Finished

Successfully completed projects ready for review, delivery, invoicing, or archiving. The visual proof of your momentum.

3 Rules for Pipeline Success

Kill the Zombies: Do not let your "Paused" column become a graveyard. If a project has been stuck there for over a month, be ruthless. Either move it back to ideas, break it down into smaller actionable chunks, or delete it completely.
Limit Active Projects: The same way you limit daily tasks, you must limit active projects. Never put more than two or three massive projects in the "Executing" phase at once, or your quality of work will plummet.
Capture the Spark: Use the Ideas column aggressively. Whenever a great idea hits you, drop a card there. Just knowing it is safely stored allows your brain to let it go and return focus to the project you are currently executing.
